Invited Lecture

44. Delivered lectures on “Applications of AI/ML in the Manufacturing Sector” during the 5-day skill development program organized by Innova World on November 8, 2024.

43. Conducted a 5-days workshop in collaboration with the Innovation Hub at the District Science Centre, Purulia, from 25th to 30th September on IOT and Robotics where we engaged with 400 enthusiastic school students from Purulia.

42. Delivered expert talk on "Nevigating Intllectual Property: Indian perspectives on Patents, Copyright, and Technology  Transfer" organised by the Department of Business Management, Christ University, Lavasa Campus on 27th April 2024.  

41. I had the privilege of delivering an expert talk titled "Innovation in Action: Insights from Incubation Leaders" at the AICTE Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp on April 9th at Techno International Batanagar. It was a pleasure to engage with over 200 enthusiastic students and ATL mentors from various schools across Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Grateful to AICTE and TINT Batanagar for the invitation. 

40. I am fortunate to deliver an invited lecture on “Moving towards open generative ai in healthcare” in the International conference on data driven AI(ICDDA 2024) organised by Kaziranga University on 16.03.24. I was a part of the interesting panel discussion session on “Generative AI and its impact on the society”. I am honoured to share the stage with stalwarts like Prof. R. K. Ghosh(IIT Kanpur), Prof. R. K. Shyamsunder(IIT Bombay), Prof. Dhruba Kumar Bhattacharya(Tezpur University), Prof. Prithwijit Guha(IIT Guwahati), Prof. Amay Karkare(IIT Bombay). It was overall a good experience to interact with students and faculty colleagues of KU.

39. Participated as a panelist in GatherVerse 2024 for a discussion titled "Innovating with Heart: Technology, Humanity, and the Compassionate Path “ on 20.02.24. This topic explores the intersection of technology and compassion, emphasizing the importance of integrating human values into technological advancements.

38. It was a momentous day for the Computer Science and Engineering department at Adamas University as we forged an alliance with Sushrut Eye Care and Research Centre. The objective of this collaboration is to offer students firsthand experience with real-world machine learning projects using healthcare data. Following this, we organized a workshop titled "AI for Healthcare Professionals: A comprehensive Practical Approach" on February 5, 2024, attended by doctors, nurses, and postgraduate students from Sushrut Eye Care and Research Centre. The workshop sparked insightful discussions and identified various healthcare domain for automation using cutting-edge technologies such as AI, AR, and blockchain.

37. Reflecting on the transformative power of technology in reshaping our urban landscape through smart city for a sustainable living solution. On 10.01.24,  delved into the impact of tech interventions in my Smart City lecture. Explored how innovative solutions through IOT, digital twin, Edge Computing, Smrt Grid are redefining urban living. From Barcelona’s self sufficient island goal to Singapore’s smart traffic management solution, the journey has been inspiring. 

36. I had the privilege of delivering an invited lecture titled "Empowering Teachers with AI powered personalized learning" at the regional meeting of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificates (ASISC). This event took place on October 14th, 2023 at Montana Vista, Siliguri, and was attended by 50 school principals from various regions, including Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong, Kurseong, and Alipurduar. It was truly heartening to witness the inquisitiveness and eagerness of these principals as they sought to learn more about AI-assisted personalized teaching and learning tools.

35. invited  as resource person to deliver  a talk on "Unlocking the power of large language models: Advancement in education and the future(end?) of programming" on 18th September 2023 Engineers Day organised by department of computer science and engineering, JIS University.

34. Presented at the 6th Global Emerging Innovation Summit 2023 as distinguished speaker, I will be discussing "Transformative Technologies: Shaping the History and Destiny of Humanity" on 31st August 2023. 

33. I have been invited as a resource person for the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Innovative Approaches for Outcome-Based Teaching-Learning in AI," scheduled from August 1st to 5th, 2023. The event is organized by the Department of Computational Sciences at Brainware University. On August 3rd 2023, I will be delivering a presentation on "How to leverage LLM to gain a competative advantage" 

32. Invited to deliver in the career counselling workshop on "AI, ChatGPT and DELL-E2" at DPS Durgapur on 27th July.

31. The Education Conclaves, organized by the Samit Ray Foundation and Indian Express, took place from June 21st to June 28th, 2023. During this event, I had the privilege of engaging with 2000 students from Balurghat, Raigunj, and Malda schools. The focus of my discussion was "Future-Proofing Your Career: Embracing Change through Technology." It was a great honor for me to share the stage with the Additional District Magistrates of Balurghat, Raigunj, and Malda.

30. Invited as a panelist at The Hindustan Times Mint Edunext Seriese on 29th March, 2023. Topic of discussion is " In the context of technology-driven learning becoming increasingly prevalent, what are the ways in which blended learning can promote educational equity?" 

29. Invited lctures on "Pyrhon Programing" on 08.03.23 in a joint workshop organised by the Quirino State University, Philipines and Adamas Universty, India.

28. Invited lctures on "Exploring the synergy of Design Thinking and Critical Thinking based Innovation in Entrprenureship: Career Oppertunities" on 16.02.23, 2023. The program is jointly organized by the Institute Innovation Council, Kaziranga University, and Swami Vivekananda University.
